Data stored on your device
The site does not require an account. After you start a game, EmulatorJS may use browser storage, including IndexedDB and localStorage, for emulator settings, downloaded game resources and save-related data. The site's Save here button stores one encoded game snapshot in localStorage, keyed to this cartridge's fingerprint.
The snapshot is used by Load saved on the same site and browser. It is not uploaded to a BattleCityPlay account or cloud save service. Private browsing, storage restrictions or clearing site data may remove it. Clearing this site's storage through your browser removes local settings and saves as well as cached game data.
Requests and infrastructure
Your browser requests pages and assets from the serving host. Cloudflare delivery and security processing may involve your IP address, requested URL and request metadata. GA4 and Clarity collect analytics by default unless you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. The site has no account database.
Hosting-provider processing is distinct from the local game save. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for the provider's own information. We do not invent a retention period for provider logs that has not been configured or verified.
Advertising and measurement
Google Analytics 4 loads asynchronously by default to measure page visits and device/browser information, using analytics cookies. Advertising consent and Google signals are disabled. Use the existing Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link to opt out. Localhost and preview domains do not send production analytics.
Microsoft Clarity also loads by default to provide interaction heatmaps and session replay. Analytics storage is enabled; advertising storage is denied. Game and privacy controls are masked, and we do not send game saves or custom personal identifiers. Query-bearing and fragment-bearing pages are excluded from Clarity.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
The privacy link near the bottom of every page opens a choice panel. Selecting Opt out stores the value opt-out under battlecityplay:privacy:v1 in this browser's localStorage. Dismiss closes the panel without changing that choice. If storage is blocked or full, the panel reports that the choice could not be saved.
Selecting Opt out also stops analytics on this page and future visits in this browser. This stores denied under battlecityplay:analytics:v1, independently of game saves. Accessible first-party analytics cookies are removed. It does not erase data already received by providers or undo requests in flight.
Contact and changes
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments to answer your request. Send only information needed for support; do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence, subject to applicable obligations.
Planned advertising
Google AdSense is not enabled. If enabled later, Google and advertising partners may collect and use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Personalization, where offered, depends on the applicable choices and consent. We will identify the active providers and implement the applicable consent controls before loading advertising. The analytics choice on this site is not an advertising CMP.
