Opening and advance
Advance beside the left inner pillar rather than drilling straight up from the base. Use the horizontal break halfway up to change lanes only after checking the lower field.
Solo defence and local co-op
In solo play, keep the lower cross-connection available. In co-op, take opposite sides of the inner pillars and let only one tank use the middle crossing at a time.
Common mistake
Removing every lower pillar opens several firing lanes at once. The two fast tanks at the end can exploit the open field while you are looking upward.

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.
Sources and verification
Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
