Opening and advance

Begin on the left of the central brick mass. Work through one side at a time and check the short bends around steel before entering them.

Solo defence and local co-op

Keep a position below the middle brick mass so you can switch sides. With two players, one covers that return junction while the other clears a side lane.

Common mistake

Parking beside a steel block and repeatedly firing into it wastes the time needed to intercept a tank taking the next corridor.

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.

Sources and verification

Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
