Opening and advance
Intercept from the clear lower strip first. Advance around a water edge only when the other lower approach is clear; a direct route through the fortress is not available.
Solo defence and local co-op
Use the bottom strip to switch sides as threats emerge. In co-op, keep one tank below the formation while the other pressures an edge.
Common mistake
Ten armoured enemies make long duels tempting. Pursuing one inside the fortress can leave a fast tank free to cross the open strip into home.

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.
Sources and verification
Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
