Opening and advance

Use the clearer left return route first. Check the lower-right forest from its edge before moving into it; visibility there is not the same as protection.

Solo defence and local co-op

Defend below the central steel strip without standing directly over headquarters. In co-op, assign a watcher to the right forest while the other covers the left approach.

Common mistake

Assuming an unseen tank has stopped in the forest leaves the right approach undefended. Watch its last direction and incoming shots.

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.

Sources and verification

Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
