Opening and advance
Clear a small, readable route on the left and preserve a turn back toward home. Check each forest-to-open transition rather than spraying into the whole canopy.
Solo defence and local co-op
Keep the lower-right exit under observation. In co-op, one tank watches that exit while the other handles the clearer left route.
Common mistake
Destroying brick inside the forest changes an unseen passage. Returning along a route that was safe earlier may expose you to a newly opened shot line.

Type order in the first 35-stage cycle

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.
Sources and verification
Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
