Opening and advance
Use the open middle to intercept early without going all the way to the top. Stay mobile because there is little cover between distant enemies and your tank.
Solo defence and local co-op
Keep enough distance above the base to turn sideways. Two players should spread across the lower field, with one checking the right forest boundary.
Common mistake
Standing still in open ground trades away the stage’s main advantage: room to dodge. The final fast and armoured tanks still require attention.

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.
Sources and verification
Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
