Opening and advance
Test a short move at the near edge of the ice, then align your tank before entering a narrow passage. Return through the lower central dry area when possible.
Solo defence and local co-op
Defend from a stable patch near the lower middle. In co-op, take turns across the icy crossing so a sliding tank does not push into its partner’s retreat route.
Common mistake
Releasing the direction key at the point where you want to stop is too late on ice; overshooting can expose the base approach.
Fixed enemy configuration
| Fixed enemy configuration | Count |
|---|---|

Type order in the first 35-stage cycle

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.
Sources and verification
Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
