Opening and advance

Read the half-width wall pieces before turning into a gap. A passage that looks open from one side may not fit the whole tank.

Solo defence and local co-op

Use the open lower centre as the return point. In co-op, cover opposite sides of the diagonal and do not both chase around a corner water pocket.

Common mistake

Treating a thin steel fragment as decorative can stop your tank during a turn, leaving you unable to dodge an incoming shot.

The roster is fixed; movement, firing, spawn timing and the visible battle develop during play. The sequence is not a scripted route or a promised pickup location.

Sources and verification

Decoded from the stage-numbered Battle City (J) disassembly (listed ROM CRC32 F599A07E). Compared against two other data representations; source differences are retained in the verification record. Advice is editorial map analysis, not an original-ROM play-through. Tank 1990 correspondence has not been established.
